Etna Maden San. Tic. Ltd. Şti. acts as data controller for personal data collected through this website. We process your data under Turkey's Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) and apply equivalent transparency principles where relevant.

2. Data we process

  • Identity: name, surname, job title.
  • Contact: email, phone, company name.
  • Inquiry content: product, quantity, sector, packaging and shipping preferences you submit when requesting a quote or sample.
  • Technical: IP address, browser/device, referrer, pages visited, timestamps (server logs and analytics).

3. Purposes

  • Evaluating and responding to quote, sample and technical inquiries.
  • Managing customer and supplier relationships and contractual processes.
  • Improving product/service quality and producing aggregate site usage statistics.
  • Meeting legal obligations and responding to authorities.

4. Lawful bases

Personal data are processed where necessary for entering into or performing a contract, complying with legal obligations, pursuing legitimate interests, or — where required — based on your explicit consent (e.g. marketing communications and optional analytics cookies).

5. Transfers

We share data only with email/hosting providers, our analytics provider (Google Analytics), and authorized public bodies as required by law. Cross-border transfers, where applicable, are made under the safeguards in KVKK Art. 9.

6. Retention

Personal data are retained for as long as necessary for the processing purpose or for the minimum periods required by law, after which they are deleted, destroyed or anonymized.

7. Your rights

Under KVKK Art. 11 you may request access to, rectification or erasure of your personal data, object to processing, contest decisions based solely on automated processing, and seek compensation for damages. Send written requests to info@etnamaden.com; we respond within 30 days.
